Sudden Silence

School started yesterday for the K-12 crowd in my neck of the woods. (It gets earlier every year.) As a result, all of the children that haunt the library 24/7 over summer vacation were missing yesterday morning. And I was a little sad, although the place was a lot quieter and definitely more peaceful than usual...more like a sterotypical library setting. You know, quiet people reading and studying as opposed to noisy children playing on the computers and attempting to climb the furniture while their parents do I-don't-know-what. Although I really do miss some of them.

But that's okay; they'll still visit us after school :)
