The blurry border between fiction and reality. And Robert Pattinson.

I got home from camping just a couple hours ago...and I am tired.

But not too tired to pop over to Hank and John Green's vlog, watch a very thoughtful and entertaining video, and post it here. (The video is a tad too big for my posting space on blogger--I haven't figured out how to fix that yet--so you may want to double click it and watch it on youtube.)

Very valid points. I really liked John Green's book Paper Towns, and I did indeed notice Green's obsession with how fictional things can become real, and how dangerous it can be to make other people up--thinking of people in terms of our ideas and imaginings about them and how they should be. I was also knee deep in articles and books about Victorian girls' education, and I couldn't help but see Margo Roth Spiegelman's predicament everywhere. (And I hadn't started blogging yet.)

I'd like to discuss this more later...
