Musical Monday (6): Lifelight-a-palooza

Every Monday I post whatever song I can't get out of my head or just can't get enough of because Mondays can often be less than marvelous, and music is happy--even when it's sad. If you'd like to join the party, just make your own Musical Monday post and leave a comment!

The 2009 Lifelight Music Festival is this weekend in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, and I'm super excited! Three days, four stages, and plenty of my favorite bands. To the best of my knowledge, Lifelight is the largest FREE Christian music festival in the United States. (I love that word, "free".) I made it out to Lifelight last year to see Switchfoot--which was awesome--and I plan to make at least one show this year with some high school and college friends. In the spirit of that, I'm posting videos by the Lifelight artists I would most like to see.

Downhere "My Last Amen":

House of Heroes "In the Valley of the Dying Sun":

Everyday Sunday "Wake Up! Wake Up!":

Run Kid Run

Children 18:3 "All My Balloons" (This song gets stuck in my head every time it comes on the radio, and I don't hate it):

Family Force 5 "Radiator" (I haven't seen them live yet, but I hear their shows are wild and crazy and fun):

FM Static "Definitely Maybe" (This song has been around for awhile, and I have warm and fuzzy feelings for it. Plus it mentions Harry Potter.):
