Mom, Dad, I'm dropping out of school to become a fingerless mitten model.

My dear friend Amber knits, and she knits so much and so cutely that she decided to start an Etsy shop, Hug the Fish Knits. Last Sunday I headed out to a park with her, her knitting, and a camera. It was great fun, and I took many pictures of her modeling her knit yoga mat bags and hats. (Regular hats, not yoga hats.) I modelled her fingerless Cablegirl mittens, and I have to tell you that seeing my face--my entire body, actually--on Etsy is a little weird. (I made her store banner too, which has some weird blurring that I think I'm going to fix. I'm not a graphic designer, but I like to play pretend.)
Here is my Etsy modelling debut:

I look like I'm plotting something. And the fingerless mittens? They're telling me what to do.

Those hands under the mittens? They're my hands!

I think Amber rocks the mittens. She's not plotting anything. She makes them look wistful.

Oh yeah. Yoga mat bags.

Modelly yours,

Shelley: I think they are too :)

Myrna: They are! If Amber makes more, and in different colors, I may have to claim them before they end up online...
