My dear friend Amber knits, and she knits so much and so cutely that she decided to start an Etsy shop,
Hug the Fish Knits. Last Sunday I headed out to a park with her, her knitting, and a camera. It was great fun, and I took many pictures of her modeling her knit yoga mat bags and hats. (Regular hats, not yoga hats.) I modelled her fingerless Cablegirl mittens, and I have to tell you that seeing my face--my entire body, actually--on Etsy is a little weird. (I made her store banner too, which has some weird blurring that I think I'm going to fix. I'm not a graphic designer, but I like to play pretend.)
Here is
my Etsy modelling debut:
I look like I'm plotting something. And the fingerless mittens? They're telling me what to do.
Those hands under the mittens? They're my hands!
I think Amber rocks the mittens. She's not plotting anything. She makes them look wistful.
Oh yeah. Yoga mat bags.
Modelly yours,

those fingerless mittens are really adorable.
Shelley
and they look soft.
Shelley: I think they are too :)
Myrna: They are! If Amber makes more, and in different colors, I may have to claim them before they end up online...
