Hi, all! Sorry I haven't had the time to post anything more exciting lately than Musical Mondays. College is time consuming.

Today is a special Monday for me because it is the last Monday I'm ever going to spend as a teenager. I turn TWENTY on Thursday. TWENTY! Two decades of existence. I have to pinch myself to believe it. I'm playing with my university's Jazz Ensemble on my birthday because it happens to be Swing Night at the campus coffee shop. People will show up, and they will dance. Every now and then we'll play music from a CD player so us jazzers can dance too :) I don't think it'll be a bad way to spend a birthday.

This week's song is "Green Screens" by Sleeping At Last. Interesting lyrics, a wonderful, musical sound, and fun animation in the video all influenced me to save this song for birthday week :)
